The proposal was not selected for award. What was proposed — an offline-first sensing mesh for the farms precision agriculture left behind — is described in our public thesis at /treatise/. The pursuit ended; the work continues on the company's own roadmap, with its milestones reported honestly when they exist.
Why this lane
Research funding for research work.
The Small Business Innovation Research program is the federal government's standing mechanism for funding early, high-risk research inside small companies. That is what this is: the sensing mesh we propose does not exist yet, and the questions it raises — about calibration across cheap hardware, about mesh behavior under real field RF conditions, about power budgets that survive seasons — are research questions before they are product questions.
